Tumkur: The ruckus on hijab in Karnataka is not taking its name to stop. Despite the order of the High Court, the girls are adamant on the insistence of going to school and college wearing hijab. The latest case has come to light in SVS School regarding Hijab in Tumkur, Karnataka. Due to the insistence of going to school wearing hijab, there has been a clash between the staff and the girl students at the school.

Uproar in many schools of Karnataka

Let us tell you that due to the ongoing controversy over the hijab, the Karnataka High Court had last week prohibited wearing saffron shawls, scarves, hijab or any religious symbol in educational institutions. In compliance with the court's order, Muslim girls wearing hijab were not admitted in many schools in Karnataka. Parents protested against not admitting Muslim girls in a government school in Chikkamagalur's Indavara village.

School had to be closed seeing the situation deteriorating

The parents raised slogans outside the schools regarding the ban on hijab and demanded that they be ordered in writing. Due to the growing protests, the school was closed for the day to calm the atmosphere. A similar view was also seen in SVS School in Tumkur.
