IPL 2022 | Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals suffered a 7-wicket defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans in the title clash on Sunday night. After this defeat, the team's dream of winning the title after 14 years again remained incomplete. Rajasthan Royals could not win the title this year but their players captured the Orange and Purple caps. Jos Buttler won the Orange Cap by scoring 863 runs in Season 15, while Yuzvendra Chahal won the Purple Cap with 27 wickets in the tournament. Butler and Chahal must be sad for not winning the trophy. But after the end of IPL, both the players were seen having fun. Chahal's wife Dhanashree has posted some pictures and videos from last night with her husband and butler on her Instagram account.

Dhanashree wrote "Pink between Orange and Purple..Words cannot justify the respect and love I have for Chahal and Butler. Butler you are a gentleman and most wonderful person. Definitely our fun times and some serious jeevan charchayon koi yagya karnega haha..Before leaving what we said to each other is true: We didn't get the trophy but we definitely won many hearts.I feel so blessed that I got the opportunity to have my own little family Sharing some of the best moments from last night."

Gujarat captured the IPL trophy by defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 wickets in the final of IPL 2022 played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. With this, Hardik Pandya has become the third captain in IPL history, who has won the IPL title in his debut season as captain. Shane Warne and Rohit Sharma have done this amazing before him. After winning the title of Gujarat, after five years, the IPL has got a new champion.

Electing to bat after winning the toss, Rajasthan made only 130 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs, which Gujarat achieved by losing three wickets with 11 balls to spare. Captain Hardik 34 and Shubman Gill scored 45 not out for Gujarat. With this defeat, Rajasthan's dream of winning the title after a gap of 14 years was shattered.
