IPL 2024 Schedule / Dhoni and Kohli will clash in the very first match - IPL schedule announced

IPL 2024 Schedule: The schedule of Indian Premier League 2024 has been announced, IPL will start on March 22. The first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. The schedule of 21 matches has been released on Thursday, due to the Lok Sabha elections, the schedule of the remaining matches will be released later. IPL will start from Friday, while double header matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday only.

Currently, the schedule has been released from March 22 to April 7, during which there will be a total of 4 double headers. This time the Delhi Capitals team will play two matches in Visakhapatnam, which will be its home ground. If we talk about IPL timings, evening matches will start at 7.30 pm, while afternoon matches will start at 3.30 pm.

• March 23- Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals
• March 23- Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
• March 24- Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants
• March 24- Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians
• March 31- Gujarat Titans vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
• March 31- Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings
• 7 April- Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals
• 7 April- Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans

Lok Sabha elections will be held in the country in April-May in 2024, hence due to security reasons, the complete schedule of IPL has not been released yet. Once the dates of Lok Sabha elections are announced and it is clear when and in which areas voting will take place, the rest of the schedule will be announced accordingly.

A total of 74 matches will be played in IPL 2024, currently the schedule of only 21 matches has been released. There are total 10 teams in IPL, last season Chennai Super Kings won. This time too this season will be special for CSK, because this could be Mahendra Singh Dhoni's last IPL.
