Rajasthan News: The Rajasthan government on Tuesday night transferred 33 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including eight district collectors. This information has been given in an order. According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel, Alok, who was currently serving as Principal Residential Commissioner, New Delhi, has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department. It said that Aparna Arora has been made the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change.

Other IAS officers include Dinesh Kumar, Naveen Mahajan, Bhanu Prakash, V.Saravan Kumar and Urmila Rajoria. Namrata Vrishni has been appointed in place of Bikaner Collector Bhagwati Prasad Kalal, Rajendra Singh Shekhawat has been appointed in place of Shahpura Collector Tikamchand Bohra, Lok Bandhu has been appointed in place of Sriganganagar Collector Anshdeep. Barmer Collector Arun Kumar Purohit has been made Nagaur Collector and Nishant Jain has been replaced. Sanchore Collector Pooja Kumari Partha has been made the Collector of Jalore and Shakti Singh Rathore has been appointed in her place. Nagaur Collector Amit Yadav has been made Bharatpur District Collector.

Five officers of the Indian Administrative Service have been ordered to hold additional assignments along with their current posts till further orders. These include Rajeshwar Singh, Alok, Shikhar Aggarwal, Shreya Guha, Alok Gupta. Let us tell you that after the formation of the new government, many officers have been transferred.
