Jalaun / DV College's assistant professor hanged himself, dead body found hanging with the help of a dupatta

Saumya Baghel (30), an assistant professor posted in the psychology department of DVC College, city Kotwali area in Orai of Jalaun district, committed suicide by hanging herself with a dupatta in the room of the house on Thursday morning due to domestic strife.

On getting information about the incident, the police of the concerned police station reached the spot. Police removed the body from the noose and sent it for post-mortem after investigation. Originally a resident of Lucknow, Saumya Baghel was posted as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at DV College in the city.

The city's mohalla lived on rent in Ramnagar. His body was found hanging on Thursday morning. The police have informed the family members. Assistant Professor Soumya was unmarried. Since 2017, Soumya was working in the Department of Psychology at DVC College.
