IPL 2021: The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is going to start on 9th April. The first match of the tournament will see the five-time champions Mumbai Indians face off against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, before the start of the tournament a bad news is unfolding for the fans and the organizers. Eight employees working at the ground before the start of IPL 2021 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium have been found to be Kovid-19 positive. Mumbai's name is also included in the list of six places selected for IPL 2021 and the match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings is to be played on April 10 at the Wankhede ground.

Actually, the workers working on the field travel by train, which is believed to be an important reason for their corona getting infected. The Mumbai Cricket Association has now decided that arrangements will be made for these employees to stay till the end of the IPL 2021 match at the same ground. An MCA official said, "We will make arrangements for the ground staff to stay inside the stadium as soon as possible." We have a lot of rooms inside the ground, where they will be kept. There is no need to worry about the IPL matches to be held in Wankhede. We will be fully ready when the tournament starts. '

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, it has been decided to have all the matches of IPL 2021 in six cities. In which Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata have been selected.
