The National Junior Girls Kabaddi Championship was inaugurated on Thursday evening at Patliputra Indoor Stadium. During this, a crowd of thousands of players and people were present. Just before the start of the event, the stadium's power went out. However, the exact reason for this has not been revealed yet. In fact, the supply of electricity from the central sector in Bihar is decreasing for the last few days. Due to this, power is being cut for hours from the city to the villages. On Wednesday also, Bihar got 1200 MW less power from the center. Due to this, there was power failure in most places for 8 to 10 hours. More power cuts are taking place in villages than in urban areas. Four units of NTPC were already closed due to schedule maintenance. Due to this power crisis has arisen.

Bihar has been facing power shortage since last one week. On August 31, where 1200 MW was less power, there was a shortage of 1365 MW on August 30. Earlier on August 26, there was a shortage of 1047 MW. At the same time, between August 27 and 29, there was a cut due to lack of power supply.
