IND vs ENG / England captain Eoin Morgan to miss final two India ODIs

IND vs ENG: The second match of the three-match ODI series between India and England is to be played on 26 March. England lost by 66 runs in the first match and captain Eoin Morgan was injured during this match. Morgan left both matches remaining. Apart from this, Sam Billings will also not be able to play the second ODI International match. Billings suffered a collar bone stretch during fielding. After the first ODI International match, the tension of both the teams has increased due to injury from players of India and England. Shreyas Iyer and vice-captain Rohit Sharma were injured from the Indian side. Iyer has also been ruled out of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in addition to the One-Day International series.

There is currently no update on Rohit's injury. Jos Buttler will command the England team in both the remaining matches. Liam Livingstone will debut in ODI International. David Malan has been included in the ODI team as a cover.

Morgan was injured during the first match played on Tuesday. His thumb and his near finger hurt and four stitches had to be put on him. The England captain on Thursday declared himself unfit after practicing fielding at the MCA Stadium. Billings, who was also injured during the first match, did not participate in practice on Thursday. David Malan has been added to the team and will be available for selection.
