IND vs ENG | England's World Cup winning captain Eoin Morgan was impressed with India's batting intent in the T20I series against England. Morgan, who recently retired, praised the Indian cricket team. Rohit Sharma's team defeated England by a huge margin in the second consecutive match to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Eoin Morgan believes that India's approach to risk taking has been very impressive.

"I've seen a huge change in their (Team India) attitude towards taking risks. It's been incredibly impressive," Eoin Morgan said on Sky Sports during the second match. In both the matches, India started well from the top order. Captain Rohit Sharma gave quick starts in both the matches and in the second game, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant gave him a lot of support. Although India could not convert the fast start into a big score, the players still played big shots.

India made two good totals in the first two matches due to positive intent, which they defended well. This intent was in complete contrast to the attitude of the T20 World Cup played last year. Regarding this, Morgan said that it was this old approach of India in the top order, which led to their defeat in the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. He said India has clearly worked on this part of the game.

During the first T20 match in Southampton, Morgan had said, "For me (on Thursday) the most impressive thing about India is what they lacked in the group stages of the T20 World Cup? Each and every one of their batsmen beat the England bowlers. But hit hard and it hasn't happened with previous teams." Even against Ireland, Team India's batsmen batted well at the top order.
