Mumbai News: A video of a fierce fight between some women over a seat in a local train in Mumbai is going viral on social media. It is being told that there was a fight between women passengers in the ladies coach of 'Thane-Panvel' Mumbai local.

In the viral video, women can be seen pulling each other's hair inside the train. A lady constable tried to pacify the passengers, but her efforts went in vain and she was injured.

S Katare, Senior Police Inspector, Vashi Railway Station said, “A scuffle broke out between 3 women in Thane to Panvel local train at Vashi railway station. After a dispute over the seat, some women started hitting each other. During this, a female employee was injured.

Giving details about the incident, the police officer said that an elderly woman and her granddaughter, who had boarded the local train from Thane, and another woman in the train at Koparkhairane, were waiting for the seat to be vacant. When the seat was vacant, the elderly woman asked the granddaughter to sit and another woman also tried to grab the seat, after which an argument broke out which turned into a scuffle. It is being told that the women involved in the assault have filed a case against each other.
