Aditya Thackeray: A case has been registered against Uddhav Thackeray faction leaders Aditya Thackeray, Sunil Shinde and Sachin Ahir at NM Joshi police station in Mumbai. Mumbai Police has registered a case under sections 143, 149, 326 and 447 of IPC. According to information received from the police, Aditya Thackeray and other leaders had opened the bridge illegally on the night of 16 November. Let us tell you that Aditya Thackeray had inaugurated the Delaid Road Bridge of Lower Parel, however, BMC officials say that the work of the bridge is still pending and the bridge was opened even before that.

BMC accuses leaders of Uddhav group

Aditya Thackeray, Sunil Shinde, Sachin Ahir, former mayor Kishori Pednekar and former mayor Smt. Snehal Ambekar had reached the bridge with 15 to 20 unknown workers and inaugurated the bridge illegally. The bridge was opened without permission from BMC and was not completely ready for traffic. On November 17, a day after the inauguration of the bridge, the BMC filed a complaint against them at the police station after receiving information. Police registered FIR on BMC's complaint. BMC officials were present in the police station from 11 pm to 4 am.

Why did Aditya Thackeray inaugurate the bridge?

At the same time, Aditya Thackeray himself had posted on X regarding the inauguration of the bridge. He said that he was waiting for BMC to open the bridge. They were waiting for BMC itself to open the bridge to the general public but almost 10 days passed. The bridge is ready and a VIP is waiting to inaugurate it.

Aditya Thackeray said in his X post on the evening of 17 November that we inaugurated it last night and today, under pressure from the Khokey government, BMC has closed it again. The government inauguration is being awaited, just to harass the citizens of Mumbai. Why can't it be opened to the people instead of waiting for the arrogance and convenience of the guardian minister?
