Road Accident / Fire broke out after a fierce collision of 49 vehicles in China, 16 people died on the spot

Road Accident: A shocking accident has happened in Hunan province of central China. Here, within just 10 minutes, vehicles collided one after the other and a total of 49 vehicles collided. During this, at least 16 people died in the accident. Around 66 other people were injured. After the incident, a large number of rescue and relief teams besides passers-by and local people gathered at the spot. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The condition of many of the injured is critical. The collision was so tremendous that the vehicles caught fire.

According to media reports, the accident happened on the Shuchang-Guangzhou highway in Changsha city on Saturday evening. But this information was given today on Sunday. According to the news portal of government-run CGTN, a total of 49 vehicles collided with each other within 10 minutes in the accident. The report quoted the local traffic police department as saying that 16 people were killed and 66 others were injured in the accident. It said that all the injured have been admitted to the hospital, out of which the condition of eight is critical.

The families of the injured have been informed. Police is gathering information about how the accident happened. According to the local people, many youth and children may also be among those killed in the road accident. This accident is said to be so dangerous that all the 49 vehicles were blown away. First one vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle. After this vehicles collided serially one behind the other. No one was getting a chance to recover.
