GT vs SRH: Defending champions Gujraj Titans have qualified for the playoffs of the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team became the first team to enter the playoffs. The team captained by Hardik Pandya defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs at their home. Gujarat has 18 points in the table. Batting first at the PM Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujraj scored 188 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Hyderabad could only manage 154 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Eighth: On the fifth ball of the 17th over, Shami got Klaasen caught by David Miller.

Ninth: On the fourth ball of the 19th over, Mohit Sharma got Bhuvneshwar Kumar caught by Rashid Khan.
Bad start for Hyderabad

Chasing a target of 189 runs, Hyderabad got off to a bad start. The team lost four wickets in scoring 45 runs in 6 overs. Anmolpreet Singh 5, Abhishek Sharma 4, Rahul Tripathi 1 and captain Aiden Markram were dismissed after scoring 10 runs. Shami dismissed three of these.

Gujarat scored 188 runs with the help of Gill's century.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 5 wickets from Sunrisers Hyderabad. He took the wicket of Hardik Pandya in the 16th over after getting rid of Wriddhiman Saha in the very first over. Then in the 20th over of the innings, he took 3 wickets in 5 balls and completed his 5 wickets. Bhuvi has taken 5 wickets for the second time in his IPL career.

Gujarat lost 7 wickets in the last 5 overs

Despite Shubman Gill's century and his century partnership with Sai Sudarshan, Gujarat Titans could not cross the 200-run mark in 20 overs. The team could only manage 34 runs in the last 5 overs and lost the wickets of its 7 batsmen.
