Haryana News: New BJP government has been formed in Haryana. The party has now handed over the command of Haryana to Naib Singh Saini in place of Manohar Lal Khattar. Naib Singh Saini also took oath as Chief Minister on Tuesday. Along with him, 5 more MLAs were sworn in as ministers. Now there will be a floor test in the assembly today where Saini will have to prove his majority.

There are total 90 assembly seats in Haryana. At present, BJP is the largest party and has 41 MLAs, while Congress has 30 and JJP has 10 MLAs, seven are independent. At the same time, Indian National Lok Dal i.e. INLD and HLP have one MLA each.

Total 48 MLAs including independent MLAs

According to the political equations of the MLAs, Saini will not have any problem in passing the floor test because the support of seven independents is also being said. If seen this way, the total number of MLAs becomes 48, while 46 MLAs will be required for majority. On the other hand, there is talk of disbandment of some JJP MLAs. Seen this way, Saini is not going to face any difficulty in passing the floor test.

Saini praised former CM Manohar Lal Khattar

After becoming CM, Saini also held a cabinet meeting. While talking to the media after the meeting, Saini praised former CM Manohar Lal Khattar. He said that we thank Manohar Lal ji for the way he has worked without discrimination and the schemes have reached the people in a planned manner.

Along with this, CM Saini also thanked the BJP high command for making him the Chief Minister. Saini said that we have decided to call the assembly session at 11 am on Wednesday. We will gain confidence in the assembly. We have submitted letters of support from 48 MLAs to the Governor.
