On Friday, at around 1.30 pm on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures saw a decline of Rs 14 and was seen trading at Rs 54093 per 10 grams. At the same time, a big fall of Rs 405 was seen in silver and it is trading at Rs 67413 per kg after breaking down. Earlier in the session, gold had closed at Rs 54107 and silver at Rs 67818 per kg.

According to the price released by the India Bullions Association (https://ibjarates.com) in the bullion market, the price of 24 carat gold declined by Rs 9 to Rs 53885 per 10 grams. Apart from this, silver of 999 purity fell by Rs 261 to Rs 66307 per kg. The rate of 23 carat gold reached Rs 53670 per 10 grams, 22 carat Rs 49358 per 10 grams and 18 carat reached Rs 40413 per 10 grams.
