Manipur Violence: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke to former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik. In a 28-minute conversation, Rahul Gandhi talked to Satyapal Malik on many issues including Pulwama, MSP, caste census, Adani, politics, farmers' movement, Manipur violence and shared its video on his Twitter account. Discussing the situation in Manipur, Satyapal Malik said that the government has no control in Manipur. Satyapal Malik said, “But it is only for six months. I can give it in writing. They will not return to power.”

Satyapal Malik again blamed the government's mistakes for the 2019 Pulwama attack. In this interview too, he again repeated the old things and said, “I told two channels that it was our mistake but I was asked not to say it anywhere…”

Satyapal Malik again spoke on Pulwama

He said that he felt that his statements could affect the investigation, but still no investigation was done. It was used for election purposes. Satyapal Malik said, “PM Modi gave his speech, where he used it politically.”

Rahul Gandhi said that as soon as he got information about the Pulwama incident. He went to the airport to pay tribute to the martyrs. But he was locked in the room, while PM Modi was there. He had to struggle to get out of the room.”

On Adani, Satyapal Malik told Rahul Gandhi that the government failed to keep its promise on MSP, because Adani built huge warehouses and bought crops at throwaway prices. Satyapal Malik said, “Next year their prices will increase and he will sell them.”

Country should follow Gandhi's vision

Commenting on RSS, Rahul Gandhi told Satyapal Malik that he feels that there is a fight between two ideologies going on in the country's politics. One is Gandhian ideology and the other is RSS ideology.

He said that both these visions are linked to Hindutva. One is the ideology of hatred and violence and the other is the ideology of non-violence and brotherhood.

In response to Rahul Gandhi's question, Satyapal Malik said that he believes that India as a country will survive only when it follows the path of liberal Hindutva. It is based on Gandhiji's vision and Gandhiji visited every village of the country and this ideology emerged from the villages.

We have to stick together

He said that if our country is run on this ideology, then only this country will be able to survive, otherwise it will fall into pieces. Everyone should live together without any fighting.

He said that the vision of Congress and Gandhiji should be spread among everyone, so that people can understand how different they are and if someone is active in politics, he only thinks about himself. Doesn't think about the country. We will have to convey our views about this to the people.

Satyapal Malik said on this occasion that people have stopped watching TV. This is a good thing and we now have social media, but efforts are being made to control that too.
