Iran-Israel Conflict: In view of the tense war going on between Iran and Israel, the Government of India has become fully alert. Extensive steps are being taken to ensure the safety of Indian citizens stranded in Iran. Keeping in mind this emergency, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has set up a 24x7 control room, which is helping in gathering information about the citizens stranded in Iran and evacuating them safely.Evacuation operation acceleratedThe Government of India gave priority to the evacuation operation and evacuated the first batch safely on Monday night. In this batch, 100 Indian citizens were transported from Iran to Armenia by road. This evacuation was made possible as a successful result of diplomatic talks between New Delhi and Tehran.
