IPL 2022 / Gujarat Titans got second consecutive win, beat Delhi by 14 runs

Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs in the second match of IPL on Saturday. Gujarat had given a target of 172 by batting first. Shubman Gill played a brilliant innings of 84 runs.


Captain Rishabh Pant scored the highest 43 runs for DC chasing the target. Apart from them, no batter could last. There was a controversy over the run out of Lalit Yadav (25) and Pant also appeared unhappy with the third umpire's decision.


Ferguson bowled brilliantly for Gujarat and took 4 wickets. After this, Shami took 2 wickets - completed the right task. Captain Hardik did an all-round performance. Apart from scoring 31 runs, he also took 1 wicket. Gujarat also won its first match against Lucknow.
