Now information has been received that AAP can send former cricketer Harbhajan Singh to Rajya Sabha in the biennial elections from Punjab. According to sources, the newly elected AAP government of the state can also hand over the command of sports university to Harbhajan Singh. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has promised to set up a sports university in Jalandhar.

After assuming the command of Punjab, the Bhagwant Mann government can send Turbinator Harbhajan Singh to the Rajya Sabha. Not only this, he can also be given the command of Sports University. Earlier, soon after the victory of the Aam Aadmi Party, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh alias Bhajji had congratulated Bhagwant Mann.

He wrote on Twitter, "Congratulations to Aam Aadmi Party and my friend Bhagwant Mann on becoming our new Chief Minister.. Great to hear that he will take oath as the new CM in Bhagat Singh's village Khatkarkalan...what a picture.. .It is a proud moment for Mata ji".

Significantly, this is the first victory of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. Taking a historic victory here, AAP has won 92 out of 117 assembly constituencies. Now five Rajya Sabha seats in Punjab are going to fall vacant next month. It also has one seat from Punjab. The Election Commission has already announced the dates for the biennial elections. It is believed that the Aam Aadmi Party may announce the names for the seats soon.
