Uttarakashi: The rescue operation of the painful accident has ended in Uttarkashi on Sunday. A total of 30 people were on the bus. In this, 26 pilgrims have died. While 4 injured have been admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Please tell that a bus going to Yamunotri had fallen into the ditch. The accident happened near Damta on Yamunotri National Highway. Devotees from Madhya Pradesh were in the bus.

At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Dehradun in the night and held a meeting with the officials of the Uttarakhand government in the Police Control Room and inquired about the relief and rescue operations in Uttarkashi. After that CM Chouhan reached Max Hospital in Dehradun late at night to see the injured devotees. He said that no stone will be left unturned in the treatment of the injured. Also discussed with the doctors regarding the treatment.

Let us inform that Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami will leave for the spot at 8 am on Monday. DGP Ashok Kumar said that immediately on getting information about the accident, police teams were sent to the spot. Rescue operation was started immediately. 26 people have died in the accident. While the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Police and SDRF teams are still engaged in the rescue.

DGP Ashok Kumar said that the bus was coming from Panna district of Madhya Pradesh for Uttarkashi, the bus fell into a ditch near Damta on Yamunotri National Highway. Passengers from Madhya Pradesh were in the bus.

There was chaos on the spot after the accident. It was informed to the police that a bus had fallen into the gorge. Police reached the spot in a hurry. After that the rescue was started. According to preliminary information, 26 people have died in the accident. It is being told that all the passengers had left for Yamunotri.

PM announced financial assistance

PM Modi expressed grief over the bus accident in Uttarkashi. Along with this, Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been announced to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.

NDRF is also reaching there soon.
