UP / Hotel owner boarded plane with fork-spoon flight going to Delhi returned Prayagraj middle of the way

Prayagraj | Major negligence in security at Prayagraj airport has come to the fore. Here a hotel owner not only took food and boarded the plane, but also brought a fork and spoon along with it. When this information came to light after the plane took off, there was panic. The plane going to Delhi was landed back in Prayagraj. After re-examination, the plane left for Delhi. The authorities have started investigation considering it as a major security lapse.

Indigo aircraft had left for Delhi at 12:35 pm on Monday at Bamrauli Civil Airport in Rahimabad, Prayagraj. It had been a while since the plane took off. In the meantime, it was learned that the owner of Ravisha Hotel located in Prayagraj Civil Lines, aboard, has brought food from home and a fork and spoon along with him. Even after the ban inside the plane, there was a stir among the employees after seeing the food and fork spoon outside.

When the pilot came to know about this, his senses were also blown away. Immediately the aircraft was diverted back to Prayagraj and after talking to ATC, a safe landing was made. After this, the plane was dispatched after re-examining all the passengers by getting the fork spoon out.

The authorities have started an investigation into the security lapse. According to the guideline, no one can carry a metal object more than three inches long and sharp in air travel. Not catching it with the X-ray machine installed at the airport is considered to be serious negligence.
