CBSE 10th Exam 2021: CBSE has canceled the 10th class examination starting May 4 due to the fast growing corona infection in the country. Class 12 examination has been postponed. After reviewing the situation on 1 June, a decision will be taken on the new schedule of 12th. The Ministry of Education has said that 10th class results will be released through an alternative method prepared by CBSE. Soon the board will formulate the evaluation formula. If a student is dissatisfied with the marks given by this method, he will be given a chance later. Examination will be conducted on fixing the situation in which such students can improve their marks.

There were not many papers last year, this was the result formula

Last year, due to Corona, CBSE had to stop mid-term exams. There were not many papers of 10th and 12th. Many papers of CBSE 10th standard were saved but due to not falling in the main subjects category, these papers were not done. Out of the total 83 subjects of the 10th and 12th papers, examinations were taken for 29 main subjects only. The remaining 54 subjects were assessed by grading. Results of these papers were released on the basis of internal assessment, project work and assignment work. It is possible that CBSE may release the 10th result this year on the basis of internal assessment, project work and assignment work.

Last year, 91.46 per cent students passed the 10th standard. The merit list was not released. The board did not announce the toppers of both 12th and 10th classes in view of the circumstances arising out of the corona virus.

Apart from this, last year students of class 9th and 11th in CBSE schools were also passed on the basis of internal assessment, test, project work.

Before CBSE, Chhattisgarh Board, Punjab Board and MP Board have also postponed their examinations due to Corona.
