UP News: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav was not allowed to garland the statue of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary. Lucknow administration and Samajwadi Party stood opposite each other regarding this. To stop Akhilesh Yadav from going to JPNIC, LDA had placed iron sheets on the gate. Later Akhilesh jumped the gate and entered inside. SP leaders removed the iron tin from the gate.

Today i.e. 11th October is the birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan. On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav wanted to go to Jaiprakash Narayan International Center to garland his statue, for this he had sought permission from LDA Vice President Dr. Indramani Tripathi, but he did not get permission.

Along with the socialist workers, Akhilesh Yadav expressed huge displeasure with this move of LDA. Akhilesh shared a post about this on social media. In this he has written that to prevent SP from garlanding the birth anniversary of socialist thinker Jayprakash Narayan ji, is the path of JPNIC being blocked by putting up these tin sheets?

‘Will there have to be a revolution even for garlanding?’

Akhilesh further said that BJP is afraid that like Jaiprakash ji, there will be no movement again against corruption, joblessness and inflation. He said that corruption, inflation and unemployment have increased the most in BJP's state. Apart from this, he asked whether a complete revolution will have to be done even for garlanding.

Samajwadi Party says that BJP was afraid that Akhilesh Yadav would not start inspecting JPNIC. That is why to hide its irregularities, LDA did not allow Akhilesh Yadav to garland him.
