Shamli: A surprising case has emerged from Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to lack of dowry here, the husband tried to kill his wife. The accused first tried to strangulate the victim but failed. When he failed, he burnt the victim alive with an electric press, which severely scorched the victim.

Dowry demand

After getting the information, the relatives admitted the victims to the Kandhla CHC and informed the police about the whole case. It is alleged that the husband was demanding one lakh rupees cash and a motorcycle in Dehaj. If dowry was not found, he attempted to murder his wife.

Married three years ago

The case is of Isopurtil, a village in Kandhla police station area. Where Irshad son Umardeen was married to Shabnam daughter Ashik Ali resident of Jamalpur police station Jhinjhana district Shamli. It has been nearly three years since marriage. Meanwhile, the victim Shabnam also gave birth to a baby girl. It is being told that the victim Shabnam was married under the Chief Minister's mass marriage program.

Did not mention to maiden

Shabnam's father works hard as a laborer and was not able to give dowry in marriage. This marriage was done to the will of the family of the accused husband Irshad. But as the time of marriage passed, so did Irshad's generosity. Irshad continued to persecute the victim and torture him. Due to Shabnam Lokalaj, everyone endured and did not mention this to the maiden.

Dowry was refused to fulfill the demand

Shabnam knew the economic status of his father and refused to fulfill the demand for dowry. On refusing dowry, Irshad has attempted to assassinate Shabnam. The accused first attempted to kill him by strangulation in which he failed, then he burnt his wife alive with electric press. Shabnam was severely scorched, which the neighbors reported to the maternal uncle.

Complaint given to the police

On information, Shabnam's family reached her in-laws' house. Seeing Shabnam, the ground slipped from under his feet. Saying the barbarity of the accused, they were giving marks on Shabnam's body. Shabnam had bruises all over his body. At present, the relatives have admitted Shabnam to the Kandhla Government Hospital. They have requested for legal action by giving a written complaint to the police.
