Pat Cummins and Thangarasu Natarajan took 2 wickets each. Riyan Parag scored 77 runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 67 runs from Rajasthan. Batting first, Hyderabad scored 201 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan could score only 200 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Rajasthan got the target of 202 runs

On the basis of half-centuries by Nitish Reddy and Travis Head and brilliant innings by Heinrich Klaasen, Sunrisers Hyderabad have set a target of 202 runs to win against Rajasthan Royals. Hyderabad scored 201 runs for three wickets in 20 overs with the help of Nitish's unbeaten 76 runs on 42 balls with the help of three fours and eight sixes and Travis Head's 58 runs on 44 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. For Hyderabad, Klaasen contributed unbeaten 42 runs in 19 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. Fast bowler Avesh Khan took two wickets for Rajasthan.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first, but the team did not have a good start and Avesh Khan gave a start to Hyderabad by dismissing Abhishek Sharma. In the next over, Anmolpreet Singh became the victim of Sandeep Sharma, which increased the pressure on Hyderabad.
