SRH vs RR: In Thursday's thrilling match in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by one run. Team's Bhuvneshwar Kumar defended 13 runs against Rovman Powell and Ravichandran Ashwin in the last over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets from Hyderabad. Pat Cummins and Thangarasu Natarajan took 2 wickets each. Riyan Parag scored 77 runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 67 runs from Rajasthan. Batting first, Hyderabad scored 201 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan could score only 200 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Rajasthan got the target of 202 runs

On the basis of half-centuries by Nitish Reddy and Travis Head and brilliant innings by Heinrich Klaasen, Sunrisers Hyderabad have set a target of 202 runs to win against Rajasthan Royals. Hyderabad scored 201 runs for three wickets in 20 overs with the help of Nitish's unbeaten 76 runs on 42 balls with the help of three fours and eight sixes and Travis Head's 58 runs on 44 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. For Hyderabad, Klaasen contributed unbeaten 42 runs in 19 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. Fast bowler Avesh Khan took two wickets for Rajasthan.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first, but the team did not have a good start and Avesh Khan gave a start to Hyderabad by dismissing Abhishek Sharma. In the next over, Anmolpreet Singh became the victim of Sandeep Sharma, which increased the pressure on Hyderabad. Hyderabad's batting slowed down in the powerplay and Hyderabad scored its lowest score in the powerplay this season. In the powerplay, Hyderabad team could score only 37 runs for two wickets. However, Head along with Nitish Reddy gave momentum to the innings and both the batsmen added 96 runs for the third wicket to take Hyderabad under control. After Head's dismissal, Nitish Reddy changed his gear and completed his fifty by batting aggressively. He got good support from Heinrich Klaasen at the other end who kept hitting big shots. Hyderabad had scored 75 runs in the first 10 overs, but due to the explosive innings of Head, Nitish and Klaasen, Hyderabad scored 126 runs in the next 60 balls and lost only one wicket. During this period, there was a partnership of 70 runs for the fourth wicket between Klaasen and Nitish. Spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal proved to be very expensive in this match and he gave away 62 runs in his spell of four overs. During this period, Chahal's economy was 15.50.
