by Newshelpline . Mumbai | Actress Bhumi Pednekar turned a year older and celebrated her Birthday at home with family. The actress just took to her social media and shared some of candid pictures from the celebration and wrote a grateful note for the love and support.

Actor Bhumi Pednekar is known for setting for many firsts in film industry, she a person who went from casting other people for roles in Yashraj Films to being cast herself as a leading lady in a film. She is inspiration who went from Fat to super fit and played 60 years old woman, being the youngest leading lady in the lot.

Bhumi is a classic instance of never letting go of one’s dreams. On her 31st Birthday, she shared a special note for her fans.

The note read, “As I turn a year older, all I can think of is how fortunate & grateful I am. To be surrounded by such love and support. To have such incredible people in my life. To be able to follow my passion and have a job that I love. To have the love the audiences give me. To be able to give back and work towards making this world a better place. To have means to protect the ones I love. I am so grateful for everything. With everything happening around us, am so so overwhelmed by the love that everyone has shown...Thank you so much #gratitude #thankyou”

Meanwhile on the work front, Pednekar began 2020 with brief roles in the comedy-drama Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and the horror film Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship.

She will next star alongside Konkona Sen Sharma in Alankrita Shrivastava's comedy Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, and portray an Indian Administrative Service officer in Durgavati, a remake of the Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie.

She has also committed to feature alongside an ensemble cast in Johar's historical drama Takht and alongside Rajkummar Rao in Badhaai Do, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 comedy Badhaai Ho.
