Ekta said at the conclave, "I am making a show on motherhood with Karisma Kapoor called Mentalhood. It is about how women, who are mothers create pressure on other women. I have had so many people giving us advice. I even had a conversation with my boy. I told my 7-month-old baby that you don't have a father and I'm learning with you. The guilt is there. But perfection is a mirage and I will not be a perfect mother."

The producer had welcomed her baby boy in January through surrogacy. She even named her son Ravie Kapoor after her father Jeetender whose real name is Ravi Kapoor.

Ekta who opted for surrogacy, had even shared with her fans the reason why she chose the method on Twitter.
