Babar Azam has become the fourth player in the world to win the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year award twice in a row. Before him Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni), Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have done this feat. Dhoni (MS Dhoni) won the ODI Cricketer of the Year award in the year 2008 and 2009, AB de Villiers in the year 2014 and 2016, while Virat Kohli won the ODI Cricketer of the Year award in the year 2017 and 2018.
