IND vs ENG: On the first day of Dharamshala Test, Team India scored 135 runs for one wicket. At the end of the day's play, India trailed by 83 runs. Rohit Sharma returned not out after scoring 52 runs and Shubman Gill 26 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring 57 runs on 58 balls. England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first at the HPCA Stadium. Jack Crawley was out after scoring 79 runs. The rest of the batsmen could not do anything special, so the team was all out after scoring 218 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took 4 wickets in the first innings for India. Ravindra Jadeja also got a success.

Fifty partnership between Rohit-Jaiswal

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal started the innings for India. Both of them made a fifty partnership in the 12th over. Rohit Sharma took the team's score beyond 50 runs by hitting a four against Tom Hartley.

England all out for 218 runs

England's first innings was reduced to 218 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets. At the same time, Ravichandran Ashwin, playing his 100th Test, took four wickets. Jack Crowley scored the highest score of 79 runs for England. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket. That means all 10 wickets of England were taken by Indian spinners.

England team had a good start after winning the toss and coming to bat first. Ben Duckett and Jack Crowley made a partnership of 64 runs for the first wicket. Kuldeep broke this partnership. He got Duckett caught by Shubman Gill. Duckett could score 27 runs. After this, Crowley completed the 14th half-century of his Test career and fifth against India. Just before lunch, Kuldeep got Ollie Pope stumped by wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel and gave another blow to the English team. Pope could score 11 runs.

25.3 overs were bowled in the first session and England scored 100 runs and lost two wickets. After this, in the second session, England batted 29.3 overs and lost six wickets in scoring 94 runs. At one time England's score was 137 runs for two wickets in the 38th over. After this, Crowley's wicket fell and from here the entire innings of England collapsed. With two wickets at 137, the England team was reduced to 218 runs in the 58th over. Within 20 overs and scoring 81 runs, India lost eight wickets of England.

Crowley scored 79 runs in 108 balls with the help of 11 fours and one six. Whereas, Joe Root was out after scoring 26 runs, Jonny Bairstow, playing his 100th Test, was out after scoring 29 runs. Kuldeep did not even allow captain Ben Stokes to open his account. When England's score was 175 runs, the team lost the wickets of Bairstow, Root and Stokes. Ashwin sent Hartley (6) and Wood (0) to the pavilion in the 50th over of the innings. After this, England's innings was reduced to 218 runs by sending Anderson (0) to the pavilion. Bashir remained unbeaten after scoring 11 runs.

England 194/8 till the end of the second session

The second session was in the name of India. By the second session of the first day, England had scored 195 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Ben Fox returned not out after scoring 8 runs and Shoaib Bashir scored 5 runs. Six wickets of England fell in the second session.

Kuldeep completes 50 wickets in test

Kuldeep has completed 50 wickets. Kuldeep took the wicket of England batsman Jonny Bairstow and took his 50th wicket in the Test. This is his 12th test match. Bairstow failed in the first innings in his 100th Test match. He could score only 29 runs in 18 balls.

England 100/2 till lunch

England scored 100 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in the first session of the first day. Jack Crowley returned not out after scoring 61 runs. In the session, Ben Duckett was out after scoring 27 runs and Ollie Pope was out after scoring 11 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took both the wickets for India.
