IND vs WI: The second Test of the India-West Indies series is at an exciting turn. At stumps on the third day, West Indies have scored 229 runs for 5 wickets, while the Indian team is still ahead by 209 runs. Team India was all out after scoring 438 runs in the first innings. On Saturday, the umpires declared stumps a few overs in advance due to bad light. Alyque Athanaz was on 37 and Jason Holder was on 11 when the umpires took the wickets. In the third day, the game had to be stopped due to rain 3 times.

Windies batters made Indian bowlers sweat

The hosts batted restrained on the third day. The team lost only 4 wickets in the whole day's play and added 143 runs. West Indies started the day with a score of 86/1. Braithwaite 37 and McKenzie came out to play on a personal score of 14 runs. Both had added only 31 runs today that Mukesh Kumar, playing the debut match, got McKenzie caught by wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan. This was Mukesh's first Test wicket. Braithwaite-McKenzie shared a 46-run partnership for the second wicket.

After McKenzie's dismissal, Jermaine Blackwood added 40 runs with Brathwaite for the third wicket. In the last session, Rahane showed him the way to the pavilion by taking a brilliant catch on Jadeja's ball. Then Captain Braithwaite became the victim of Ravichandran Ashwin in the second session. He was bowled by Ashwin on the best ball. Braithwaite scored his 29th career half-century. He scored 75 off 235 balls. His innings included 5 fours and a six. He shared a 71-run opening partnership with Chanderpaul.

Fourth: Jermaine Blackwood - Jadeja came to bowl over the wicket to the right-handed batsman for the first time in this innings. Blackwood tried to block the turning ball, but the ball, going away from the wicket, touched the outside edge of the bat and went in the direction of the slips, where Rahane dived to his left and took a brilliant one-handed catch.

Fifth: Joshua da Silva - bowled on Siraj's good length inswing ball. Siraj had bowled a wobble seam ball here, which came inwards and took an inside edge and entered the stumps.
