IND vs ZIM 1st ODI: India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the first match of the three-match ODI series to take a 1-0 lead in the series. In the first ODI played at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe, batting first, set a target of 190 runs in front of India. Chasing Zimbabwe's target of 190, India registered an unbroken century partnership between Gill (82) and Dhawan (81) for 192 runs without losing a wicket with 19.1 overs to spare. Zimbabwe had lost eight wickets for 110 runs but Richard Ngarwa (34) and Brad Evans (33 not out) added 70 runs for the ninth wicket to save the team from being put down cheaply. Captain Regis Chakabwa was the top scorer with 35 runs. For India, Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar and Pranbhav Krishna took 3 wickets each.

Dhawan scored the 38th and Gill scored the third half century.

Shikhar Dhawan scored 38th fifty of ODI career. He faced 113 balls in his innings and hit 9 fours. At the same time, Shubman Gill scored the third fifty of his ODI career. He faced 72 balls and hit 10 fours and 1 six.
