IND vs NZ 3rd ODI: Team India has defeated New Zealand by 90 runs in the third ODI. With this, the Indian team has made a clean sweep in the series by 3-0. This result means that the Indian team has now also become the number-1 team in the world in ODI cricket. We are already number-1 in T20. Our ranking in Test is number-2.

India has clean swept New Zealand for the third time.

It did so in 2010 and 1988 as well. He has also won the 7th ODI match in a row.

Batting first, India scored 385/9 after losing the toss at the Holkar ground in Indore. Gill scored 112 off 78 balls, while Rohit scored 101 off 85 balls. Apart from these two, Hardik Pandya also batted well. He scored 54 off 38 balls. Virat Kohli added 36 runs in the middle. Jacob Duffy and Blair Tickner took 3-3 wickets from New Zealand.

In response, New Zealand's team was all out for 295 runs in 41.2 overs. Dwayne Conway (138 runs) played a century from his side, but could not win his team. Apart from Conway, Henry Nicholls scored 42 and Michael Bracewell scored 26 runs.

Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav took 3-3 wickets from India. While Yuzvendra Chahal got 2 successes. Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik got one wicket each.

Seventh: Ishaan Kishan stumped Bracewell on the ball of Kuldeep Yadav.

Eighth: On the 5th ball of the 39th over, Kuldeep got Ferguson caught by Rohit Sharma.

Ninth: On the fourth ball of the 40th over, Chahal made Jacob Duffy LBW.

India made the second highest score against New Zealand

Rohit-Gil gave a strong start

Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a strong start to Team India. Both made an opening partnership of 212 runs in 157 balls. Rohit scored the 30th century of his ODI career. So Gill completed his sixth century.

ODI century has come after three years from the bat of Captain Rohit. So Gill has scored his third century in the last four matches. Since 2019, both India openers have scored centuries. Earlier Rohit and Rahul had done this.

Rohit completes 10 years as a full-time opener

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has completed 10 years as a full-time opener in ODIs. Starting the innings, he has scored 7663 runs at an average of 55.93 and a strike rate of 92.71.
