IND vs WI: India has strengthened its hold in the second Test against the West Indies. Virat Kohli, playing his 500th international match, scored 121 runs, with the help of his century, Team India scored a big score of 438 runs in the first innings. West Indies were 86 for one in their first innings at the end of the day's play at Port of Spain in Trinidad on Friday. The team is still 352 runs behind India's score. Captain Kaig Brathwaite from the team scored 37 and Kirk McKenzie returned not out after scoring 14 runs. Tejnarine Chanderpaul was dismissed after scoring 33 runs, Ravindra Jadeja sent him to the pavilion.

Apart from Sachin among Indian batsmen, only Rahul Dravid (36 centuries) and Sunil Gavaskar (34 centuries) have scored more centuries than Kohli.

Virat has so far scored 76 centuries in international cricket. Apart from 29 Test centuries, he has scored 46 ODIs and 1 century in T20 Internationals. Only Sachin Tendulkar (100 centuries) has scored more centuries than Virat in international cricket.

Virat has scored a test century abroad after 55 months. His last Test hundred before this on overseas soil came against Australia in Perth in December 2018.

159-run partnership between Kohli-Jadeja

Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja shared a 159-run partnership on 286 balls for the fifth wicket. Virat 121 and Jadeja got out after scoring 61 runs.

First: Yashasvi Jaiswal- Yashasvi wanted to drive the wide length ball from Jason Holder, but his body was away from the line of the ball. The ball took the outside edge of the bat and went into the hands of Kirk McKenzie standing at gully position.

Second: Shubman Gill- Kemar Roach bowled a good length ball outside off stump. The ball touched the edge of Shubman Gill's bat and reached wicketkeeper Joshua da Silva.

3rd: Rohit Sharma- Rohit Sharma gets bowled in an attempt to stop a good length ball at middle stump. He became the first victim of Jomel Warrican.

Fourth: Ajinkya Rahane - Shannon Gabriel bowled a short pitched ball outside the off stump. Ajinkya Rahane went to play the shot on the backfoot, but the ball got buried and Rahane got bowled.

Fifth: Virat Kohli wanted to take a single by playing Warrican's ball in the direction of square leg, when Alzarri Joseph, standing at short leg, picked up the ball and hit the non-striking end with a direct throw, before Kohli could reach the crease, the ball hit the stumps.

Sixth: Ravindra Jadeja - wanted to drive the ball outside off stump, but the ball took the outside edge of the bat and went to the wicketkeeper da Silva's gloves.

Seventh: Ishaan Kishan - wanted to play Jason Holder's short length ball in front, the ball touched the edge of the bat and went to wicketkeeper da Silva, who was caught by Joshua who made no mistake.

Eighth: Jaydev Unadkat - wanted to hit Warrican's flighted ball, but missed and wicketkeeper Da Silva took advantage of the opportunity to stump him.
