Twitter | Shriram is helping Elon Musk run Twitter. Yes, after the Twitter takeover of Elon Musk, some other top Twitter executives including Parag Agrawal have been sacked, but an Indian-origin executive is helping Elon Musk to restructure the company. In fact, Sriram Krishnan himself made public by tweeting that he is working with Musk to revamp Twitter. Reports suggest that Krishnan is a B.Tech graduate from Anna University in Chennai and is also a part time crypto investor.

"Now the word's out: I'm temporarily helping @elonmusk with Twitter along with some other great people," Krishnan said in a recent tweet. In the same tweet, Krishnan said, "I (and a16z) believe this is a hugely important company and can have a huge impact on the world and the person doing it is Elon."

While Musk has fired some of Twitter's top executives, he assembled a group of advisers, including Krishnan. He has long been a part of Twitter, and is also a partner in Silicon Valley investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, also known as a16z, which invested in Musk's buyout of Twitter.

Krishnan previously held managerial positions at Yahoo!, Facebook and Snap. In 2021, he joined Andreessen Horowitz, a leading investor in Clubhouse, a social audio app.

While one Indian is on Musk's Twitter team, several others, including Parag Agarwal, have been left out. Let us tell you that in 2021, Agarwal replaced Jack Dorsey as the CEO of Twitter. Reports suggest that Agarwal will receive the biggest payout of around $42 million after his ouster.

Musk has not announced the name of the next Twitter CEO. Reports suggest that Elon Musk may only take over as the CEO of the social media platform.

The Tesla CEO is currently making some structural changes within Twitter. Musk has announced a charge of $8 (approximately Rs.660) per month to users who wish to get blue ticks on Twitter. Musk has not disclosed when the new subscription plan will go into effect and how it will work.
