The wait of cricket fans is over! BCCI has announced the schedule of IPL 2025. The first match will be played between KKR and RCB in Kolkata on March 22. A total of 74 matches will be played, out of which 70 will be in the group stage. The final will be held on May 25.

IPL 2025 Schedule: Cricket fans were eagerly waiting for the IPL 2025 schedule, and now the wait is over. The BCCI has announced the venues, teams, and dates for all matches. On Sunday, February 16, the board made this announcement, according to which the opening match of the 18th season will be played between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This match will take place on March 22 at the historic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. After 17 years, these two teams will face each other in the IPL opener. The last time they played the opening match was in 2008, the inaugural season of IPL. This time, the IPL will be held over 65 days, featuring 74 matches, including playoffs and the final, across 13 venues. Out of these, 70 matches will be in the group stage.

March 23: CSK vs MI - The Biggest Clash!

IPL 2025 will begin on Saturday, March 22, with three matches scheduled in the first two days. The day after the opener, on March 23, two major matches will take place:

  1. Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals3:30 PM

  2. Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians7:30 PM (Blockbuster Match)


CSK’s Major Journey in IPL 2025

In IPL, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have the biggest fan base. Keeping this in mind, BCCI has scheduled two matches each for CSK against RCB and MI.
