Iran-Israel Conflict / Iran launches the most dangerous missile, announces destruction of Israel

Iran used Fateh hypersonic missiles in Operation True Promise III against Israel to breach Israel's air defenses. The IRGC called it a turning point. Israel claimed to have killed an Iranian general, while Trump demanded unconditional surrender from Tehran.

Iran-Israel Conflict: The war between Iran and Israel has now reached a new turn. On Wednesday, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) surprised the world by using its advanced Fateh hypersonic missile against Israel under "Operation True Promise III". Through this missile, Iran not only achieved a military victory by penetrating the Israeli air defense system, but also challenged the regional balance.

The IRGC termed this operation as a 'turning point' and said that the deployment of Fateh missile has weakened Israel's security shield and made its allies realize the real strength of Iran. He claimed that this attack proves that Iran has now established complete control over the skies of the occupied territories.

What is Fateh missile?

'Fateh' means "opener" and its name itself reflects its purpose—to open a path by tearing through the enemy's defense system. It is a hypersonic mid-range ballistic missile with a range of up to 1400 kilometers. It weighs around 350 to 450 kg and can carry up to 200 kg of explosives. It was formally inducted into the Iranian army in June 2023.

Iran claims that Fateh is the fourth country after Russia, China and India to have achieved success in operational hypersonic missile technology. According to a New York Times report, Iran also used the same missile in an attack on Israel in October 2024.

Israel's response and US warning

After this missile action by Iran, Israel has intensified its retaliatory strike. The Israeli army has claimed that it has killed two top Iranian military officials—General Ali Shadmani and Ghulam Ali Rashid. Israel has described this action as a strategic victory.

Meanwhile, the US has increased pressure on Iran by openly supporting Israel in this conflict. Former President Donald Trump has warned Tehran's citizens to evacuate the city and demanded Iran's "unconditional surrender." "I'm not expecting a ceasefire, we're expecting better than that -- a complete end to the war," Trump said.
