Gaurav Khanna: Highest paid contestant or just a rumor?

In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Gaurav Khanna spoke openly about his participation in Bigg Boss 19, rumors about fees and his previous reality show experiences. When asked if he is indeed the highest paid contestant of the season, Gaurav replied in a very casual manner:

"It may or may not be a rumour. People keep saying a lot of things, but one should not believe hearsay. I do not judge any actor on the basis of his fees. For me, all that matters is what I am getting out of this show. I don't even know who the other contestants are and what their fees are. My focus is only on performing well this season."

Gaurav also revealed that his focus this time will be on strengthening relationships, which is quite different from his previous reality show experience. He said, "In the previous reality show, my focus was on cooking, but this time I will focus on strengthening relationships and making my mark in the show."

Support from wife Akanksha Chamola

Gaurav also talked about his wife and actress Akanksha Chamola. He revealed that Akanksha did not give him any special advice for the show, but has got her full support. Gaurav said:

"Akanksha did not give me any advice, as she has known me for years. She understands the real Gaurav. She is very happy that I am going on the show and she just said go and win the show. I will try to give my best, but I am also a human being. If needed, I will fight with full intensity."
