New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra made it to the headlines recently after she removed her surname from her social media. The actress, who earlier used to write her name as ‘Priyanka Chopra Jonas’, has now renamed it to just ‘Priyanka’. This started a rumour that she is getting divorced from her husband Nick Jonas.

Amid all these, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra rubbished the rumours. Madhu Chopra was quoted saying by News18 on the rumours if her daughter’s divorce, “It’s all rubbish, don’t spread rumours.”

Priyanka Chopra changed her name on social media after tying the knot with Nick Jonas in December 2018. The couple got married in a big fat Punjabi wedding and also in a Christian wedding.

The ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ actress moved into her first home with husband Nick Jonas recently. Priyanka shared a glimpse of their abode on her Instagram and also hosted a grand Diwali celebration at their new home. She revealed in her post that this is their first home together and will ‘always be special’.

‘The Matrix Resurrections’ actress wrote while sharing, “Our first diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner @nickjonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full. Happy Diwali”.

Meanwhile, speaking on the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen featuring in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’, ‘Text For You’, ‘Citadel’, untitled wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling, and the Bollywood movie ‘Jee Le Zaraa’.
