Cricket / James Faulkner blames PCB for not honouring contractual agreement withdraws PSL 2022

Giving information about leaving PSL on his official Twitter handle, Faulkner wrote, I apologize to Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately I had to withdraw from last 2 matches and left PSL due to PCB not honoring my contract/payment . I've been here the whole time and he kept lying to me.

Cricket | Australian fast bowler James Faulkner has decided to leave the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) midway and return home. He has taken this decision due to non-payment of contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Faulkner also accused the PCB of lying to them.

Giving information about leaving PSL on his official Twitter handle, Faulkner wrote, "I apologize to Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately I had to withdraw from last 2 matches and left PSL due to PCB not honoring my contract/payment . I've been here the whole time and he kept lying to me."

He wrote in another tweet, "Sad to leave because I wanted to help bring international cricket back to Pakistan. There is a lot of young talent here and the fans are amazing. But the behavior I have received is from PCB and PSL." An insult on my part, I'm sure you all understand my position."

The Pakistan Cricket Board clarified on the matter, tweeting "PCB and Quetta Gladiators regret the false and misleading allegations made by James Faulkner and will soon issue a detailed statement on the matter."

Faulkner was part of Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2022. His team is at 5th position in the points table by winning 3 out of 9 matches.
