By News Helpline – Mumbai | It’s a treat day for all crazy fans who binge watch content on OTT Platforms as Netflix India has dropped names of 17 originals that will be releasing soon on their platform. People are going crazy and cannot wait to watch these films and web shows. While release dates for the rest 16 have not been declared, however, Janhvi Kapoor's 'Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl' has got a release date. The film will stream from 12 August.Janhvi shared the news on her instagram account and wrote, "Proud to bring to you the story of India's first woman Air Force Officer to go to war. A journey that I hope will inspire you the way that it has inspired me. Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl is landing on 12th August to your #Netflix screens."The film is a biopic on the life of Indian Air Force Pilot Gunjan Saxena, the first female and Indian woman airforce pilot in combat along with Srividya Rajan. Gunjan rescued the soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was honoured with Shaurya Vir Award. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma and is produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. Film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in supporting roles. Film will stream on Netflix from 12th August.
