Cricket | Ever since the New Zealand team clinched the title by defeating India in the final of the World Test Championship, celebrations have been going on across the country. Now the New Zealand Cricket Board has made preparations to increase this celebration, in which fans will get a chance to take photos with their favorite cricketers. On Wednesday, the board said that the team will tour the country carrying the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) mace which will start from July 26.The Kane Williamson-led side won the inaugural ICC (International Cricket Council) WTC final after beating Team India by eight wickets in a thrilling rain-hit final in Southampton last month. New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive David White said, 'We have received a lot of requests that the people of New Zealand Would like to share the moment of this historic achievement with the team and be a part of the celebration with them. We have taken this decision after much deliberation.WTC Champions XI captains Kane Williamson, Kyle Jamieson, Devon Conway and Colin de Grandhomme will not be present at the parade, as they will be in the UK to play in their County Championship and 'The Hundred' tournament. The remaining members of the group, including Will Somerville, Jeet Raval and Todd Astle, even who were not present in England during the WTC Finals, will appear with maces at various stages of the parade.
