Kim Kardashian News: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has now become the new owner of the Attallah Cross (studded with sapphires and diamonds). This cross once belonged to Princess Diana. The late princess was seen wearing it on several occasions. This cross was originally made by Gard, a British jeweler in the 1920s. It was auctioned by the auction house Sotheby's.

The jewelery item was sold for 163,800 pounds (1,64,47,895.10 inr) at a sale in London according to Sotheby's and four bidders competed for the pendant which eventually went to Kim Kardashian.

'Very little of Diana's jewelery on the market'

Sotheby's Christian Spofforth said: 'Jewelry owned or worn by the late Princess Diana very rarely comes on the market, especially a piece like the Attallah Cross, which is so colourful, bold and distinctive.'

sold for double the estimated price

The auction house revealed that the Attallah Cross reportedly sold for almost double the estimated price. Princess Diana wore the pendant to a 1987 charity event.
