KL Rahul reached the court of Baba Mahakal

KL Rahul went to Ujjain in between the Test series. He saw Baba Mahakal and then worshiped. After this he also participated in Bhasma Aarti. Its photos and videos are going viral on social media. He married Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty this year, but he flopped badly in the Test series against Australia. He has not been able to perform as per his name. The third Test match is to be held in Indore and Ujjain is just 55 kms from Indore.

Questions arising about staying in the team

Many veteran cricketers have raised questions about KL Rahul's continuation in the team. Apart from Australia, he could not perform well in the Test match against Bangladesh as well. Players like Harbhajan Singh have raised the demand of giving Shubman Gill a chance in his place. Gill is running in excellent form, having done well in the ODI series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka. He has already won many matches for Team India on his own.

Played all three formats for India

KL Rahul has played cricket in all three formats for India. He made his Test debut for Team India in 2014 against Australia. He has scored 2642 runs in 47 Tests, 1870 runs in 51 ODIs and 2265 runs in 72 T20 matches for India, but he has been battling poor form for a long time. For this reason, the BCCI has taken away the responsibility of vice-captaincy from the last two Test matches against Australia.
