That is, Govardhan Puja will be celebrated on the third day of Diwali.


According to astrology, this situation is being created after full 27 years. Earlier in the year 1995, there was a solar eclipse on the day of Diwali. By the way, it will not have any effect on Diwali worship. Let us tell you that on November 8, there is a lunar eclipse on the day of Dev Deepawali. Let us tell that during this time Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn are present in their respective zodiac signs and the last solar eclipse of the year can be seen in many parts of the country. Govardhan Puja is performed on Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. In such a situation, this festival is celebrated on the next day of Diwali. But this time due to solar eclipse on 25 October, Govardhan will not be celebrated on 25 October. This time Pratipada date is going to start at 4:18 pm on October 25 and till 2.42 pm on October 26. In such a situation, the auspicious time of Govardhan Puja is from 6.29 am to 8.43 am on October 26.

Govardhan will not be worshiped on October 25 due to the morning being the Sutak period. Before worship on October 26, make Govardhan Parvat in the house.


According to astrology, on this day a cow or a calf is brought around the mountain and offered to it. However, in many places this tradition has ended.


After this, that mountain is worshipped and radish, sweets, whole are offered on it.
