DC VS LSG: In the second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday, Lucknow Supergiants defeated Delhi Capitals by 50 runs. This is Lucknow's third consecutive win over Delhi in IPL. Team's fast bowler Mark Wood took 5 wickets. In the first innings, Kyle Meyers played an explosive inning of 73 runs in 38 balls. Batting first after losing the toss at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, LSG scored 193 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In response, DC's team could only score 143 runs in 20 overs.

Warner lying alone, batting slow

Electing to bat after losing the toss, host team opener Kyle Mayer played an innings of 73 runs off 38 balls studded with 7 sixes. While Nicholas Pooran scored 36 runs in the middle order by hitting three sixes in 21 balls. In the last over of the innings, Ayush Badoni hit two sixes to reach the score of 190. Fast bowler Mark Wood got the team 2 successes in his first over. He bowled the first 3 balls of the 5th over as a bouncer. Then by throwing the fourth ball fuller length, Prithvi Shaw was bowled. He also bowled Mitchell Marsh on the very next ball. In the very next over, he also made Sarfaraz Khan walk on the bouncer.
