His judicial custody has been extended again. Sisodia's judicial custody has been extended for 15 days i.e. till May 23. The court also asked the Enforcement Directorate to provide an e-copy of Manish Sisodia's charge sheet.

ED is investigating from the angle of money laundering

Sisodia was presented in the court on Monday after the judicial custody was over. ED is also probing the money laundering angle in the liquor scam case. On the extension of judicial custody from the court, former Deputy CM of Delhi Sisodia said that neither the work of Patparganj nor the work of Delhi will stop, no matter how hard BJP people try.

CBI-ED screws on Sisodia

Significantly, in the liquor scam, both CBI and ED have tightened their noose on Manish Sisodia. The CBI started its investigation in the matter following the recommendation of Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena. During this, the CBI raided the whereabouts of former Deputy CM of Delhi and many others.

In the month of February, the CBI had arrested Sisodia after a long interrogation. After this, ED started investigation in the case under money laundering and he also arrested Manish Sisodia. The former CM of Delhi is lodged in Tihar Jail since last 23 February.
