A fire broke out in Hathua Market, one of the posh markets of Bihar's capital Patna, on Thursday morning. The fire engulfed many shops. As soon as the information was received, more than one and a half dozen vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and tried to extinguish the fire. The fire brigade team brought the fire under control after several hours of hard work. It is being told that a motorcycle caught fire due to lightning and then spread to many shops. Crores of rupees were lost due to the fire.

According to the information, a fire broke out in a shop located in Patna's Hathua Market on Thursday morning. Soon the fire took a severe form and took many shops under its control. Local people informed the fire department. Fire brigade team reached the spot immediately. The fire was so horrific that it took a lot of efforts by the fire brigade personnel to control it.

Local people say that due to bad weather in Patna in the early morning there was lightning. A motorcycle caught fire due to a thunderstorm at Hathua Market. The shop near him caught fire. Soon after, the fire took a formidable form and many shops were engulfed in it. However, the administrative and fire officials have not confirmed that the fire was caused by lightning.

They believe that a short circuit in a shop can also be the reason for the fire. The cause will be ascertained after the fire is brought under control. No casualties have been reported so far. But crores of rupees have been lost due to the burning of the goods kept in the shops.
