The son of mining mafia Haji Iqbal has been arrested in Saharanpur. Alishan, son of mining mafia Haji Iqbal, was arrested from Lajpat Nagar in Delhi on Thursday night. At present, Alishan Behat is in the custody of the Kotwali police. He was wanted under the Gangster Act.


It was told that this is the third arrest in this case. Still Haji Iqbal, his sons Javed, Wajid and Afzal are absconding. Action was taken against Haji Iqbal and his sons Javed, Wajid, Alishan, Afzal and associate former block chief Rao Laik, servant Naseem under the Gangster Act at Mirzapur police station. Rao Laik and Naseem have been arrested in this case.


SP Dehat Suraj Rai said that on Thursday night, the Behat police and service team arrested Haji Iqbal's son Alishan from Lajpat Nagar in Delhi at 2 pm. A Fortuner car was also recovered from him.


 Four fraud reports filed including former MLC Haji Iqbal and Mahmood Ali


A report has been filed against four people including mining mafia and former BSP MLC Haji Iqbal and his brother former MLC Mahmood Ali under sections of cheating and forgery at Mirzapur police station. This report has been filed by his former partner Amit Jain alias Dadu.


In this regard, Amit Jain, resident of Mahaveer Colony, had given a complaint letter to the SSP, alleging that the named accused operated bank accounts by making fake signatures of them and got MM 11 forms issued from the mining department. Haji Iqbal terrorized them and bought land worth lakhs of rupees without consent, as well as invested money in many companies and his trust.


 On the orders of the SSP, the police have registered a report against former MLC Haji Iqbal, his brother former MLC Mehmood Ali, Jagjit Singh resident Jakholi Sonipat (Haryana) and Haji Iqbal's servant Naseem.
