New Delhi : Personal information of 6 Muslim girl students demanding entry wearing hijab in educational institution is being shared on social media. It has been said in the complaint that many personal information including mobile numbers of girl students have been shared on social media. SP N. Vishnuvardhana has given. He said that the families of the girl students have been asked to submit proof of information being shared online. After that necessary action will be taken against the guilty people. Actually, the hijab controversy started from this Udupi district of Karnataka. Here many girl students started protesting against being stopped from entering the school wearing hijab. In response, some students and girls started wearing saffron gamchas. After that the controversy escalated.

Finally, on February 5, an order was issued by the Karnataka government, which said that wearing any religious clothes is forbidden to come to school or college. Students have to follow the dress code of the school and college. The opposition to this decision of the Karnataka government intensified and now the matter has reached from the Karnataka High Court to the Supreme Court. Not only this, protests have started in many states of the country including Delhi, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh. While one section is saying that the ban on hijab is against choice, the other section is saying that it is necessary so that a secular atmosphere is maintained in schools and colleges.
