More than 9,000 Atal Tinkering Labs today provide children with the opportunity to innovate and work on new ideas in schools. Announcing the celebration of National Start-up Day, Modi said that many congratulations to all the innovative youth of the country, who are raising the flag of India in the world of startups.

Innovation should be free from the web of government processes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during his address that this culture of startups should reach far and wide, for this it has been decided to celebrate 16 January every year as National Startup Day. PM Modi called for freeing entrepreneurship, innovation from the web of government processes. He said that it is very important to create an institutional mechanism to promote innovation.

India's ranking improved in Innovation Index

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing through video conferencing, said that the campaign that is going on in India regarding innovation has the effect that India's ranking in the Global Innovation Index has also improved a lot. In the year 2015, India was ranked 81 in this ranking. Now India is at number 46 in the Innovation Index.

Don't keep your dreams local, make them global

Earlier, even in the best of times, only one or two big companies could be formed, but last year 42 unicorns have been made in our country. These companies worth thousands of crores are the hallmark of a confident India. Today India is rapidly moving towards hitting the century of the unicorn. Startups from India can easily reach themselves to other countries of the world. So don't just keep your dreams local but make them global.
